Maggie was born on 4/14/05.
She was bred by Jim White of
Hickory Flat, MS. She is the
grand pup of Spot and Kim
(both are imported from
Scotland). Spot has won the
District Nursery Championship
2 years in a row in Ireland and
Kim won the Texas Open
Nursery. Her Great Grand Sire
(also named Spot) has the
Reserve Champion Int. Driving
Championship Title of 1992.

Maggie was a very
aggressive puppy. We
spent a couple hours a
day holding her on her
back. It took about a
week of everyday training
to get her to stop snarling
at us. We didn't know
what to think. Now the
cattlemen tell us when we
have a puppy like that to
call them. That's the kind
they want. OK...

Now 2 years later we are still trying to
convince Maggie that she is not the
pack leader. We plan to do extensive
training with Maggie this summer.
Maggie has a good eye, but is not as
focused as T is. She has the tenacity to
stay after the herd but needs work on
responding to commands.
